Forget the bad

Tomorrow is better

Rejoice in your life

In today

Now take actions to it

If…

If hope was a color

It would be the rainbow

As colorful as my socks

If hope was a taste

Hope would taste like the sweet joy of victory

If hope was a feeling

It would be as great as tomorrow

If hope was a smell

It would smell like bitter but sweet

If hope was a sound

It would sound like music to your ears

Minnesota,

Is cold

So cold toes freeze

Colder than most places

Minnesota

Depression

Is not easy now

It’s hard to be happy

You are sad a lot
Depression

I am optimistic, outgoing, and caring

I wonder what change I’ll be in the world

I hear the world calling my name

I see a bright future ahead of me

I want peace

I am optimistic, outgoing, and caring

Roses are red

Violets are blue

It’s not mother’s day anymore

But thank you

You mean so much to me

Far beyond the eyes can see

I can’t thank you enough

I know it’s been rough
But here’s to you

So Happy mother’s day

I don’t understand English

I don’t understand close-minding-ness

I don’t understand hate

But you can’t really appreciate up unless you’ve been down

You make my hear sing and dance

Just give me another chance

Mind your own business my friend

Before I ruin your plans

Really.?  Are you kidding me.?

The whole world can see

From sun up to sun down

I’m always going to be around

This I know, for certain to be true

I miss you as much as I love you

well let me tell you story about a girl and a boy,
he fell in love with his bestfriend when shes around he feels nothing but joy,
but she was already broken and that made her blind
cause could never believe that love would treat her right.

you can’t really appreciate up unless you’ve been down
you can’t really appreciate moon until its sunny
you can’t really appreciate love until you've seen hate
you can’t really appreciate hope until you've seen hopeless
you can’t really appreciate hapyyiness until you've seen sadness
you can’t really appreciate outside until your trapped inside
you can’t really appreciate high school until your graduated

I don’t understand life

I don’t understand dishonestness

I don’t understand corruption

But not everyone has the same moral values

letter to me in the pass,
you were so stupid, but you you can a long way.
you've gotten to better at being in control of
yourself. your life is only what you make it
and just because your having a bad day doesnt
mean that you have a bad life

The world would be a better place if  people spoke second and listened first
The world would be a better place if  everyone didnt want to be hateful
The world would be a better place if  we loved more and hated less
The world would be a better place if  we though before we did things
The world would be a better place if  money didnt rule the world
The world would be a better place if  money wasnt the root to all evil

My mother once told me

I take back everything I've said.

If I Ever Had The Chance With A Million Bucks

Money is the root of all evil. If I had a million dollars, there are endless things that I would do. There are also a lot of things that I would not do with a million dollars also. One of the biggest things that I would do is, get my mom a house that’s completely paid off and no one can take from her. I would put some money up for my college life and all the books and stuff that I would need. I would buy me a car, a nice care but not like a half of million dollars car. I would make sure I invested some of it so I could still be making money with that million and hopefully have even more than just that one million. I would take care of my family; make sure that everyone that I care about is taken care of. Then I would move back to Iowa after high school, and go their for college and play at Iowa, Iowa State, or UNI. Also there are a lot of things that I would not do, due to the fact that I do not want to get a million bucks then end up blowing it all on stupid things. That would be ever careless, and very immature if I did something like that. I feel like I am very responsible with money and very good at money management. All of that is good to have when you have a lot of money, so that you are not like most people that get a lot of money than after a couple of months you have absolutely nothing. I feel like if I got all that money and blew it away then I would be letting my mother down, and that’s the last thing that I would want to do. i would not let money corrupt me.

 The Hunger Games, Catching Fire

Suzanne Collins

September 14, 2008, September 1, 2009

Young adult literature, Alternate history, Science Fiction, Dystopia, Adventure fiction, Utopian and dystopian fiction

The two books that I decided had  common themes are The Hunger Games and Catching Fire which is from the book series by Suzanne Collins. The first book of this series is Hunger Games, followed by Catching Fire. The three themes that you find in both The Hunger Games and Catching Fire are loyalty, courage, and love. Those are three of the most important themes, because they play a major role in both of the books, and make people do crazy things.

The two books that I decided had three common themes are The Hunger Games and Catching Fire which is from the book series by Suzanne Collins. The first book of this series is Hunger Games, followed by Catching Fire. The three themes that you find in both The Hunger Games and Catching Fire are loyalty, courage, and love. Those are three of the most important themes, because they play a major role in both of the books, and make people do crazy things.

In both of these books there are countless examples of loyalty, so many that it’s had to even talk about all of them. One of the best examples of loyalty in The Hunger Games is actually in the game. In the games it is complete war, but Katniss decided to put all that aside and help out Rue who was the same age as Katniss younger sister Prim. Katniss did her best to keep Rue safe and to make sure nothing bad happened to her, she also tried to shield her from all the killing that was going on. Similar to The Hunger Games, in Catching Fire Katniss also shows loyalty to Rue again. Since Rue actually got murdered in the games Katniss and Peta both decided to donate their winning from the game to the family of district 11. This did not bring back Rue but it showed that she was loyal to Rue, and their relationship was real.

There are countless examples of how anyone in both the Hunger Games and catching fire are courageous. Many people that I have talked to that read the book of The Hunger Games or saw the movie, you have no doubt that Katniss is a very courage’s person. She showed endless time, but one that stood out to me the most was when she volunteered as tribute in place of her younger sister Prim. Likewise in Catching Fire Katniss was also very courageous in many more ways. In the 75th Hunger Games Katniss actually has to go back into the games, and fight for her life and all of district 11. Katniss held herself together for the most part for her sister and mom, but she still felt the need to try in protecting them. Even though they all knew that Katniss did not have to, because they were capable of protecting themselves.

Love is such a meaningful thing that can cause a lot of heartache, but also cause great reward. In The Hunger Games it is without a doubt a reoccurring factor, with countless examples. One of the most meaningful once is when love concurred all. In the games there can be only one winner, but the “love” Katniss has for Peeta prevails. It was the first time that anyone went against President Snow, and came out on the other side in victory. Carrying on to in Catching Fire, Katniss and Peeta later realize that the fake love that they were feeling in the games may have not been so fake. They both realize that somehow, and some way they both ended up falling for each other. It was never supposed to go beyond the games.

The Hunger Games and Catching Fire are two books out of Suzanne Collins book series. These two books and/or movies have made a major impacted on the world, due the fact that they are best sellers. Also they have had so many theaters that have had sold out showed for them. There are endless amounts of themes that they both have in common, but there are just three that I picked. I picked loyalty, courage, and love, because those are three things that changed people throughout the books and movie.

 Critical Response Essay
I notice about a resin in the sun that they all had the same core values, but it just took some of them (Walter) a little longer in order for them to become the person that there father, husband, and father-in-law knew they were. You’ll notice that Walter wants to be the man that his father was but he wants to get into the fast money scream. Something that his father would never let him do, he had all the things that he wanted to become but he wasn’t sure on how to get there. He didn’t know that he would have so many falls and stumbles in his way to get rich, he thought it would just be fast, easy, and no worries. He was in for a real eye opener when he lost the money that his mother gave him, and that happened when the man ran off with his money which he never saw coming. All of this reminds me of other movies that it happens in, but it makes me think what could really happen. There is a story of a man that was cold and he saw a snake and he grabbed the snake and took him to his house, and as soon as the snake got warm he bit the man. When the man asked the snake why he bit him after he took him in and warmed him up, the snake said that it was his nature. That the man knew he was a snake before he grabbed them. It also reminds me to never trust someone enough to give the chance to even screw you over like that. There are a lot of people in this world that are not good people and will screw you over no matter what you do. I don’t really feel any emotions responding to this, I just know to watch out who I call my friends. Don’t trust too easily, and don’t love too fast. Trust gets you killed, and love gets you hurt.
